A Bit About Me & How I Got Into Tarot

All my life I’ve always been interested in holistic healing and spirituality. In large part this was influenced by my mum, she has similar interests and would let me choose cards from her oracle deck when I was little and take me to ‘Crystal fairs’. Then one day, my mum gave me my very own oracle deck, and a few years later a tarot deck.

The tarot deck sat on a shelf for a few years because I was too scared to touch it. But then the most difficult and traumatic event appeared in my life - I won’t go in to details because it’s so personal, I don’t expect everyone to understand and I expect people will have hurtful opinions of it. So anyways, I was desperate for some divine guidance on my situation, and that’s when I reached for the tarot cards.

The first card I ever pulled was the 9 of swords, I didn’t know what it meant at the time, but I remember thinking ‘woah, that woman on the card is just like me.’ I practised tarot everyday so that I could help myself, and now I’ve gained a valuable skill that I can use to help others!

I think people often turn to divine guidance in difficult times. We want something bigger and wiser to tell us that we’re on the right path, and that all will be well. And you know what? It always is. 😌🙏
